STUDENTS WILL EFFECTIVELY USE THE QUICK SELECTION TOOL AND LAYER ADJUSTMENT MASKS.
YOUR ASSIGNMENT: Create 3 selective color photographs in Photoshop.
using av mode, set your camera to focus on a specific detail, mainly the part of the photo that you want to remain in color.
using depth of field, the rest of your image will be blurry, or unfocused.
photoshop instructions:
Open your photo in photoshop, crop, use levels, and any other adjustments before starting.
For this project, you DO NOT have to COPY & PASTE, you can use your original photograph to work on! :)
Duplicate the background layer by DRAGGING the layer to the DUPLICATE button.
On the duplicated layer, go to IMAGE>ADJUSTMENTS>DESATURATE.
You should now have 1 color layer and 1 black and white layer.
You should now have 1 color layer and 1 black and white layer.
