Food photography
objective: students will use the photography technique of bird's eye view & worm's eye view to style and photograph food in an appetizing advertisement.
groups will choose which types of food to bring in/photograph.
Desserts-What desserts or types of desserts look good when photographed? Cupcakes, Treats, Candy, Chocolate, etc.
Appetizers-What type of appetizer has minimal detail but when photographed looks professional? Cheese & Crackers,
Drinks-Can you photograph drinks? How? Ice Cream Float, Hot Chocolate, etc.
Fruit/Vegetables-Which fruits and vegetables look best when cut open or peeled? Kiwi, Pomegranate, Papaya, etc.
All groups will need to bring in props including cutting boards, plates, forks, napkins, newspapers, menus, etc. Set this up as a still life, remember some of the interesting hints we learned through the videos and presentations.

Bird's eye view-Shooting from above, as if you were a bird, looking down on your subject matter.
worm's eye view-shooting from the side of the item, as if you were a worm on the ground, this will make your subject matter look large and more filled.

Your only choices for editing are using CROP, LEVELS, & COLOR BALANCE, & VIBRANCE.
