OBJECTIVE: STUDENTS WILL UNDERSTAND AND APPLY THE ELEMENTS OF ART IN A SERIES OF PHOTOGRAPHS.
What are the Elements? "The elements of art are quite simply the different ingredients, pieces, or building blocks that come together to make a work of art- whether it be a painting, drawing, sculpture or photograph.
The elements of art include: line, shape/form, value, texture, color and space. ELEMENTS OF ART = BUILDING BLOCKS OF ART!

YOUR ASSIGNMENT:Take a series of 6 photographs, 1 for each element of art listed above.

1 photograph showing SHAPE OR FORM
1 photograph showing VALUE
1 photograph showing TEXTURE
1 photograph showing COLOR
1 photograph showing SPACE
Edit each photo in Photoshop to improve the image.
Pay attention to cropping, using levels to adjust lightness/darkness, and vividness.
Include the element name in your file name when you save each photo! (ex: "NAME_line.jpg", "NAME_texture.jpg", etc...)
Put all Elements in a folder labeled ELEMENTS, then share with me via Google Drive.
