steps:
Begin with a sketch, the easiest way to be sure your design is even is by dividing your square or circle into "pie slices."
Then continue to draw your design. What types of advanced patterns can you use? What about adding emphasis to your pattern?
SHADE THE BACK of your drawing/image to create a "carbon paper" effect. Flip the paper over and trace down on all your lines and designs with sharp, hard pencil. This will be used as a TRANSFER.
Once your designs are transferred, grab the underglaze and begin painting. Remember, you need 3 coats, as well as gloss should you want yours to be shiny. *Double check the color of the underglaze, the color you choose may not be the same color as the liquid. Keep a record of the glazes you use on your worksheet.
