pencil vs. reality
Sometimes we get so caught up in the digital world, we forget about our own imagination and skills when it comes to drawing and incorporating other mediums into photography. This project marries both drawing and digital photography into a unique mix!
objective: SWBAT combine a hand-drawn image into a digital image, marrying the two mediums for mastery work.
Step 1: use your photo journal to sketch/write out any ideas you have for this project. this will count as your photo journal entry #11. stuck for ideas? try google-drawing photograph.
Step 2: redraw your idea on paper, use pencil or colored pencil/sharpie or any other mediums you feel will work well with you photograph. notice how your paper should be ripped and not perfect, utilize this to your advantage!
step 3: photograph yourself and your pencil drawing. you may need a tripod and timer or another classmate to help. work together, take a few different shots, use the green screen in A-3 to interact with your pencil drawing.
step 4: edit your image and prepare any other alterations you feel would help make your work successful. submit your image via google drive for critique.
